Snowless Christmas

December 25, 2007

After a very long (delayed) flight and a frustrating realization that none of my electronics work here in HK because of a faulty travel adapter, I am a little unplugged from reality but have settled in (to some degree). We have lots of planned events here and what little down time I have is usually when Nathan is napping so it's a little inconvenient for the shopping I had planned to do. But, I suppose, in some sort of twisted way, it's forcing me to take it easy so I suppose it's good.

Anyway, it's just not the same here with respect to the whole Christmas deal. They have all sorts of lights and Christmas decorations set up but it just doesn't feel the same. It doesn't feel like Christmas. But in any case, I hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas and if not that, at least a little bit of a relaxing break before the new year arrives!
