Ordering Online

February 24, 2008

My experience with ordering things online in the past has been somewhat limited. I've only ever ordered books online from sites I know can be trusted, like Chapters and Amazon. A few times I was tempted to purchase items from other places but I eventually chickened out.

However, with the wedding getting closer and closer I was forced to turn to the cyberworld for help in hunting down my wedding dress. Most sources advise brides to order their gowns before the 6-month point. I, being the super-elite procrastinator I am, did not even start looking for my dress until that point. So, pressed for time, I found that my quickest (and most cost-effective) option was to purchase a few wedding items online, including (gasp) my dress.

I was pretty hesitant at first. What if they gave me the wrong product? What if I didn't get them in time? Luckily, I received the first item (the favour boxes) safe and sound in Florida and they were fine. And as for my dress? Well, I just hope when it gets here, it still looks like.. (Andrew, no looking)
