Nathan's Two!

Two years have passed since the day Nathan was born. It's still a little surreal to me. Because of our current situation, we don't get to see Nathan during the weeks. All that time spent apart from him makes it hard to believe that he's already been in our lives for whole two years. But since we are apart for those stretches of time, the weekends we spend together is even more awesome (his new favourite exclamation).

He has an endless supply of energy and always manages to tire me out but each weekend, he shows us how much he's grown and what he's learned during the week. He's always quick to point out when something is "jo-jo" (dirty), remind you "don't worry" and make sure everyone has a turn. He's the most patient kid I know, waiting obediently as we bundle him up in clothes, acknowledging that we have to put on mittens first even though all he really wants to do is run out the door to play in the snow.

I can't wait to see what else is in store for this little guy.
