Stir Crazy

June 24, 2009

So apparently no one's kids are going to Toronto camps now so Andrew and I don't look that bad as parents.

Anyway, that's not the important thing.

The important thing is that for the past few days, I've kept Nathan at home, trying to entertain him as best I can while I try to get some assignments done. It was pretty hard on the both of us. And this morning, he finally had enough.

The poor kid went crazy.

That's when I figured, enough was enough. We had to take this kid out immediately.

So I did the unimaginable (For me. For any other parent, this would be perfectly normal). I brought Nathan out to the park. All by myself. Yeah, you heard me.

I can't remember if this is the first time I've brought Nathan out to the park myself but this was definitely the first time I've taken him to the park since we moved. It was scorching hot outside but we hid under the shade of trees and we made it there.

So yay for me! And yay for us, our kid is sane again.
