Guittard Chocolate

January 13, 2010

It was like I hit the jackpot when I found Guittard chocolate chips at Loblaws for $0.99 last week. I couldn't believe my eyes! I read the sign over and over again, then finally started grabbing bag after bag, stashing them into my cart.

I've been reading food blogs for a while and I've come to recognize Guittard chocolate as good chocolate. And I also remembered that they're the ones responsible for making Williams-Sonoma's peppermint bark! So I figured I really couldn't go wrong.

I've been staring at these beautiful silver packages of chocolatey goodness for the past week or so and I couldn't think of what I could make with them.

Then it hit me! I had a bunch of bananas that were turning black. So I made some banana chocolate chip muffins!

The monster-sized chocolate chips were so perfect. So chocolatey. So good.

Oh, those look like yummy muffins! But, I really came over to leave you some info on Disneyland. We had Eloise (age 2) in her Bugaboo stroller. It rides like a dream, but I hesitated to take it to Disney since it's kind of pricey. But, we did and it was just fine. Apparently, lots of people "steal" the rental strollers because they all look alike, but we never had the slightest problem with ours. Good luck - and for sure take some type of stroller.
