Seeing Double

March 3, 2011

The other day I posted a couple pictures of my glasses. I'm sure they looked the same to you. Maybe I should explain.

It's really difficult to find glasses when your infant is screaming (making your husband look like some kind of kidnapper), and your older child is constantly trying to try on glasses as well, or run out of the store. Really difficult.

Plus, I wanted something that looked similar to my old glasses. Andrew suggested I try something new. But I couldn't. I wasn't done with my old glasses yet. And the fact that I was thousands of miles away from my usual eye glass store, the same one I've been getting my glasses from since I started wearing glasses back in grade 6, and my dad who has always chosen my glasses for me, didn't help the matter.

So I stuck with what I was familiar with. And since it was buy one, get one free, I stuck with what I was familiar with, times two.

Sure, on the outside they look almost identical.

But if you take a closer look, you'll see that they're different.

It's what's on the inside that matters anyway.
